Hosting
And its importance

Hosting is a powerful tool. Parties have been held since the beginning of time. I have always been a party girl, as I grew up in a party household. My parents would throw an event every other week. I remember this mystic feeling falling over me as I watched people I’d typically see in business suits unwind, take off their shoes, and talk for hours about the most absurd topics. Some of my favorite life values I began to understand from listening in on these conversations.

As I matured and began following my own demographic, hosting was something that felt natural to me. Primarily because my mother and I take great pride in our interior design, and I wanted to show it off. But on the other hand, I didn’t realize it then, but community building is something that truly feeds me. When I take part in bringing people together and enjoying their life, I feel fulfilled.

Hosting is something I will always do, as I find myself constantly looking forward to the next event I’m planning without needing any other motivation. It’s second nature at this point. I’m ready to take my hosting abilities one step further into my professional career.
